Making food ordering fun

Fueled by a $50 million dollar investment from Aramark in June 2011, Seamlessweb became Seamless and set out to raise its profile and gain market share. Seamless acquired Menupages in Sep. 2011 and released their groundbreaking iPad app in February 2012.

I worked closely with the Seamless leadership team to write and produce a video that demonstrated the intuitive features of the app while also showcasing some of the top restaurants in NYC where food could be ordered.

Outcome

The video quickly became an important part of Seamless' PR and social media strategy. It amassed tens of thousands of views and helped propel the success of the Seamless app. In August 2013, Grubhub and Seamless merged, with Seamless representing 58% of the equity and GrubHub representing 42% of the equity of the combined business.
